"!"Gary Semics MX Cornering Lessons for Sand & Grass Tracks You'll learn how to practice and master controlling and carrying more speed through the corners and sand whoops. This will be possible by leaning all the proper body movements and by controlling the five controls of the bike in order to work with the bike, not against it. This video covers cornering for soft sand and there are also some corners for harder sand and grass. The techniques taught would be used on many different types of surfaces. Learn how to use the rear brake not only to allow faster entry control but also to make the bike handle better all the way through the corner. Learn how to use the front brake as hard as you need to without sliding out. Learn how to carve through soft sand berms with speed and control every time. You?ll also learn how to handle those ruff sand whoop sections with speed, control and less physical effort. Learn how to do a brake slide ? power slide through tight corners and how to master long sweeping corners. In this video I am teaching all these important techniques for mainly two students in a semi-private lesson. This lesson takes place on the awesome private track named Sky Top in Bushnell Florida. The two riders in the class were 14 year old Logan Karnow who is a top racer in the Senior Mini and Super Mini and 18 year old Marianne Veenstra from Holland who is a top 5 racer in the Women?s GP Series in Europe on a Suzuki 250 F. You?ll also learn from my critiquing of other riders who were there practicing on the track that day including one of the fastest, if not the fastest, up and coming young rider 12 year old Adam Cianciarulo.
